Infants (Lambs:Ages 2-8 months) (Ducks: Ages 9-15 months)

In addition to meeting the individual needs of our infants, our teachers are always interacting with them to encourage their mental and physical development. Infants participate in circle time songs and stories, manipulative time, music time, outdoor or indoor motor time, and art exploration. Teachers work with each child in a series of stimulating activities that incorporate the natural routines of feeding and play.

Toddlers (Chickadees: Ages 16-24 months) (Sharks: Ages 2-3 years)

Toddlers have many opportunities to physically explore their world inside the classroom and on the playground. They also begin more structured activities, such as learning centers and group circle time. Your toddler will begin learning concepts of color and size, and will build their vocabulary.

The older toddler program for ages 2-3 years expands on the foundation established in the young toddler program. We begin to introduce more routine and structure to children’s activities and daily schedule. Your child will build vocabulary, learn functional numerical skills, and will be encouraged to use simple reasoning to explain everyday occurrences. Our daily activities continue to reinforce age-appropriate social development.

Pre-K (Caterpillars: Ages 3-4 Years) (Butterflies: Ages 4-5 Years)

Our Pre-K program prepares children for kindergarten by teaching foundational literacy and math skills. Children learn letter-sound relationships, sight word recognition and basic mathematical functions. Important social and emotional skills such as listening, understanding feelings and resolving conflicts are included in the program. Pre-K students add into the lesson computer exploration time and group activity time daily.

Pre-K2
Pre-K2 is designed for children who have completed Pre-K, or whose birth dates are after the kindergarten cut-off. This program prepares your child to meet the kindergarten expectations required. Pre-K 2 students will have increased expectations of student performance, additional levels of academic preparation, and enrichment opportunities to create higher levels of cognitive reasoning and understanding.
